Dear friends,

Tim and Rex Bass set off on a most fascinating adventure to New York yesterday. THE buyer for Subway (as in the Subway with Jared and his Veggie Delite) wants a barn, or maybe just the barn wood -- regardless, Rex and Tim are prepared to deliver!! Attached is a picture of the barn where Tim and Rex will eat, sleep, and then raze...

This brings me to my latest scheme.

Since Tim is away for a couple three weeks, I can put ANYTHING I want on the website. I can SAY anything too.... without Tim flipping out and demanding it be removed. He is POWERLESS to my PROMOTION!! MuahahahaHAHAHA!!

I recently added a page called Ramblings since Tim doesn't like me to post unfinished work pictures... But you guys don't get the heavy duty doses of Tim that I get. He says and does things that are truly -- um -- let's just say different. And I plan on sharing them with everyone for the next few weeks!!

I've already put some new tidbits on Ramblings for your enjoyment. So stay tuned!! More to come!

AND before I go, the Keeline Gallery show that is coming up August 13th is going to be THE END ALL / BE ALL OF ART SHOWS. Hot Rods, Harleys & Fine Art, Oh My!

Houston Heights- Friday, July 22, 2005- August 6th at the Yale Street
Arts Market may look more like an auto show than an open-air arts
market. Spacetaker - The Essential Houston Culture Guide will be
joining artists from all over the Houston area at the next First
Saturday event in the Houston Heights. Spacetaker is a Texas
non-profit dedicated to promoting the Houston Cultural Arts. Visitors
can pick up information on the local arts; make a donation and sign up
for their newsletter. A Classic Muscle Car: the 1970 AMX and a new
Harley Davidson will also be on display! Visit Spacetaker on the web
at www.Spacetaker.org

Winter Street Studio artists will be represented in a tent for the
third month in a row. All mediums of art are represented in the Winter
Street tent. A favorite is Bill Swann's massive hand crafted sundial.
A talented group of artists from North Houston calling themselves
Diversionists will also be in attendance with an incredibly 'diverse'
mix of art. Original paintings, handcrafted jewelry, sculpture and
fiber arts are available at each month's art market by both
established and emerging artists.

The Historic Heights First Saturday Trolley Tours proved quite popular
in July with standing room only on several passes through the historic
neighborhood. The two vintage-looking Metro Trolleys make an 8-stop
circuit around the Heights with an informative history tour and
pointers on local events in the neighborhood.
The Trolley's run non-stop from Noon to 4:30pm and is free.
Informative flyers are available at area stores and the information
booth at the Yale St. Arts Market and online at
www.HeightsFirstSaturday.com

The Yale Street Arts Market is an open-air fine arts market located at
210 West 21st Street ½ block off Yale behind Kaplan's Ben Hur

Market hours are 9-5pm

Free admission & parking in the Kaplan's lot. Enter from 22nd street

ONLINE ARTIST SCAM submitted by two Artists At Large-BE AWARE!

A heads up to my fellow artists.  I was recently approached by  "Kelly
Simmons" from S. Africa that wants to buy art off of my website.
Turns out this is a Nigerian scam.  According to another artist I
know, she will send payment in the form of a money order that will
cover the cost of shipping as well.  The money order is counterfeit
and the shipping company is a con.

That would be me!  I have several projects that I need help with.
-All design/decorative painting related.  Paying positions!
