MONDAY!

What's going on!?
I don't often write here....just post stuff. Don't know why. I wonder too, who reads this stuff anyway? I read my friends blogs....Michael Ann's is fun, you never know what she'll post on there.
She always has great photos that I threaten to steal and post here. So why don't you just go visit when you are done reading this....if you're still here! Still working on that big house posted here a few weeks ago. It's coming along nicely and I'll post new photos when we have something worthy of your attention.

Went to the Keeline Gallery opening Saturday night. Very nice space. Had some cooling issues though. It was CROWDED! Tim Snider's work went over very well and he sold several paintings.
I love openings, you just never know who you might run into. I'm not going make this a who's who posting, but I saw a lot of people! All the success to Karen Keeline, she's got a great space and opened with some incredible talent. Check it out.

Okay. If I just start writing like I talk I know things will turn strange here! OH, I know...who
went to the Alamo Draft House Monday night and saw Kyle Fu's movie? I forgot about the showing. For some reason we are on EVERYONES mailing list except Gallery 19, so I find out aobut their events to late. Ahhhhhhh well, poor me.

We went to the Astros game yesterday. What fun! A full day...breakfast-ball game-
Beer at the Balcony after...pool games...then drum lessons, singing and mayhem!
Crazy Baby!

Here's my favorite quote of the day:
A cucumber should be well-sliced, dressed with pepper and vinegar, and then thrown out.
- Samuel Johnson
Okay one more for a you know who you are:
Maude: A lot of people enjoy being dead. But they are not dead, really. They're just backing away from life. *Reach* out. Take a *chance*. Get *hurt* even. But play as well as you can. Go team, go! Give me an L. Give me an I. Give me a V. Give me an E. L-I-V-E. LIVE!
[beat]
Maude: Otherwise, you got nothing to talk about in the locker room.
Cheers!
-M
