Carolyn just announced it's cocktail hour! Woo Hoo!
All we can do now is wait this thing out.
Got food, water, games and various implements of destruction to fight
our way out.
Looks like the worst of the storm will miss us now.
We are so lucky (and smart) to have turned around last night when we did.
The news shows all those areas now to get the brunt of Rita.
And most of our road companions that stayed on that highway ran out
of gas and got shuffled off to shelters....or sat there till this afternoon.
That just ain't right. Lot of good Samaritan stories coming out of
that too though.
Folks opening there shops so people can freshen up and get water.
Well. This may be my last post via the Internet. Sorry in advance if
future posts are cryptic and full of misspellings!
